Chanukah/חנוכה in the Holy Land - The Festival of Lights/חג אורים

Here are some pictures of what Chanukah looked like in Be'er Sheva this past holiday season. I feel so blessed that each night was completely unique and different! I didn't get pictures from every night, but I promise each night brought a new set of miracles:)

At Beth and David's for the second night of Chanukah
Skyping with the family for the second night of Chanukah/Thanksgiving
Third night of Chanukah at my English coordinator's house
At HaNegev Mall for the fourth night
Seen by a teacher fellow at a bowling alley on the fourth night
Hanging out with some of the fellows and Israeli friends in our Chevre (peer group) on the 6th night
At Ringleblum Coffee shop on the last night. Soufganiyot (jelly-filled traditional donuts. Just one of a dozen I ate during the holidays).
The whole coffee shop joining in to say the blessings and light the candles. Such a beautiful sight.
Michal and I in the shop. I just adore her! Her family ended up coming in and sitting up next to me!
When you have a black-out during a storm, what better holiday to be celebrating than the Festival of Lights?
Just a few of us stuck in the building, but celebrating the last night as it should be celebrated: with friends and good laughs! L-R: Steven, Kari, Matt, Me, John
